Talking about wine - not our wine, but WINE the program used to implement Windows on UNIX based operating systems. It makes UNIX easier to use for the less technically adept - perhaps less technically fluent is a better phrase.

This person's icon should not be showing a graduate in a cap & mortar-board. Plainly, all the technical jargon used aside, he or she is too dumb to be running a Linux system, since the question was posted at a beverage discussion board.

I have also been to the Tarara Winery. I went there for a day-long company meeting and wine tour. It was well worth the trip out from DC.

I've been to both of those wineries and they are great. My friends and I seem to be hitting the same wineries over and over tho and I'd like to try some new ones.

Guess it's time for us to just hit the road with a winery guide and see where we end up. I'll make sure to post our findings. :-)

I did some wine tours last time I was in the area, and my absolute -FAVORITE- was Pearmund Cellars. They have a great merlot and malbec... and the whites were also tasty...

Plus they're very friendly in there. :-)

I haven't been, but I have had several VA wines. I recall Horton makes an acceptable product.

Here is a partial list of VA wineries.
