Integrates Online Components into Wine Community
Santa
Fe, NM - April 7, 2005 - The WineWeb has recently combined online
functions to allow consumers to find wine, buy wine, and talk
about wine. By integrating these components, The WineWeb becomes
a virtual community for people interested in wine.
With
information on over 22,000 wineries integrated into the Web site,
visitors use The WineWeb as a wine search engine. Current inventories
from wine merchants are loaded into the site and can be searched
to find wine matching a consumer's tastes. The addition of wine
discussion forums called "the Forums @ WineWeb" provides
visitors the ability to discuss wine topics and view wine information
posted by others.
"The
WineWeb can now truly be viewed as a 'first and only stop' for
wine novices or wine connoisseurs", states Ron Kreutzer,
WineWeb's founder. "Consumers can research the wines, wineries
and wine regions, discuss wine with others, then make an informed
purchase of wine."
