Come visit one of Massachusetts' most spectacular farms in the heart of historic Central Massachusetts. Our farm store, award winning winery, and orchard stand on a farm founded in 1733. The Farm and Winery are only minutes from historic Sturbridge, and less than an hour from Boston, Hartford, or Providence. Our winery produces award winning handcrafted fruit and grape wines, is open 12 months a year, and sponsors tasting events throughout the year. Our farm grows a variety of fruit, allowing us to have total control of our product, from the harvest, right to the bottle. Presently we have over 20 varieties of wine, with 17 of the wines medal winners. Nate’s Hard Cider was awarded a Concordance Gold medal, in 2005 and Gold Medals, in 2006 and 2007, while our Crimson Gold Red Raspberry Wine has won it’s second double gold medal in 2007. Our Farm store carries our fresh vegetables and fruit seasonally from June through February of each year. Our bakery produces fresh fruit pies, cider donuts, apple dumplings, and to-die-for gourmet cookies. Pick your own fruit is available beginning with Strawberries in June, Blueberries and Raspberries in July and August, Peaches in August and continue with Apples and Pears in September and October. My family has been growing fruit in Southern New England for over 50 years. The winery is located at Charlton Orchards Farm, Route 20, in Charlton Massachusetts Our family traditions dictate that we always make time for our customers, both large and small. I guess my philosophy about wine is as simple as my life style. I believe my wine translates our family values and heritage. We are hard working people that take pride in what we grow and make, with American values that state I'm proud enough of this wine to put my father's picture, Nathan, Sr. on every bottle, and I even named one after both of us, Nate's Hard Cider. Above all else, I believe our wines should be consumed for the sheer enjoyment of taste. Nate Benjamin Jr.
