Thistle Hill Vineyard is a small family owned winery nested in a picturesque valley just 10 kms from Mudgee. It owes its undeniable beauty to its original vigneron, David Robertson, a pioneer of organic viticulture principles. His vision of balance between the production of award winning wines with sustainable growing is still upheld by his wife, Lesley and two daughters, Lucy and Sally. Thistle Hill produces four noble varieties: Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard was certified organic in 1993 by NASAA, the National Association for Sustainable agriculture, Australia.
