When two psychiatric professionals started a Napa Valley winery in 1981, their friends suggested the couple exhibited symptoms of folie à deux- a term that refers to two people who share the same delusional idea or fantasy. A Rorschach ink blot of two dancing figures became the winery's logo, incorporating a rainbow of color to suggest a pot of gold. Today, Folie à Deux Winery incorporates a fun and laid-back attitude into the Tasting Room, where serious wines are savored by experts and novices alike. Specializing in award-winning Zinfandels from Amador County, and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, we invited you to visit our winery on your next visit to the Napa Valley.
