In seven years and only seven vintages, Penley Estate wines have won 10 trophies, 52 gold, 64 silver, 126 bronze medals and 12 commendations in Australia and overseas. In anyone's language it's an amazing achievement.
Owner winemaker, Kym Tolley, describes himself as a fifth generation winemaker, the family tree involving both the Penfolds and the Tolleys. He worked 17 years in the industry before establishing Penley Estate and has made every post a winner since, producing a succession of rich, complex, full bodied red wines and stylish chardonnays.
