Gaia Wines

Gaia Wines, Inc., Indiana's 19th winery, opened in May of 1996. It is named for the Greek goddess of earth. Cellar Master Angee Walberry, an award-winning Winemaker and owner of Gaia Wines, is the first woman to own and operate a winery in Indiana. In fact, Gaia Wines is the only solely woman-owned winery in the United States.

The winery, located in the heart of Indianapolis' Massachusetts Avenue gallery and theater district, provides an enjoyable and educational winery experience in a contemporary, urban environment. Gaia offers award-winning wines, artisan-crafted-on-site, from dry reds, fruit and honey to dessert wines. The winery also features over 150 wine and grape related gifts, accessories, gourmet foods, clothing, decanters, glassware and other gift items displayed on beautiful antiques. The wines may be purchased by the glass or bottle for your enjoyment in our tasting room or for carryout, even on Sunday!

Three different tasting bays, a private tasting room and banquet area make Gaia the perfect site for private parties, executive lunches and corporate functions.
