Direct-to-Trade Sales

The WineWeb ® is an e-Marketplace for wine with over 35,000 wineries and 200,000 wines.

Now you, as a wine retailer or restaurant, can buy wine online direct from the wineries and/or wine merchants that use our e-commerce services (subject to the laws and regulations in your area).

Direct-to-trade, winery self-distribution and winery-to-trade are all terms that refer to the sale of wine directly from a winery to a wine merchant or restaurant. Most states allow wineries to self-distribute their wines to trade accounts in their state, and a growing number of states allow out-of-state wineries to sell direct-to-trade. As this is a "true" direct-to-trade service, there is no wholesaler in the shipment or payment process that would take a portion of the winery's profit, enabling the winery to sell to the trade at lower prices.
